PM SHRI GGIC Shaktifarm was established in the year 1992 at the High School level with the vision of providing quality education to girls in the region. Recognizing the growing educational needs of the community and the excellent academic progress of the institution, the school was upgraded to the Intermediate level in 2004. Since its inception, the school has consistently worked towards empowering young learners through education and value-based learning. The school is managed by the Department of Education, Government of Uttarakhand, ensuring adherence to state educational standards and policies. It is situated in the urban area of Shaktifarm block in Sitarganj (U.S. Nagar) district of Uttarakhand. The location of the school makes it easily accessible, as it is connected by an all-weather road, enabling students from nearby areas to commute conveniently throughout the year.
The institution offers education from Classes VI to XII, providing a continuous and comprehensive academic journey for students. Hindi and English are the mediums of instruction, ensuring that students develop strong communication skills in both languages while maintaining a solid academic foundation. At PM SHRI GGIC Shaktifarm, education goes beyond textbooks. The school is dedicated to nurturing intellectual, emotional, and social development among students.
Along with academic excellence, equal importance is given to co-curricular and extracurricular activities that help students build confidence, leadership qualities, discipline, and teamwork skills.
The academic session at the school begins in April every year, following the academic calendar prescribed by the education department. With committed teachers, supportive staff, and a student-centered approach, the institution strives to create a positive, safe, and enriching learning environment where students are inspired to grow into responsible citizens and future leaders of society.
